Ladies ladies and gents, I know that everyone has or had this same dilemma the daunting and looming question of how do I dress better? Why does she/he look so chic and pulled together and I look like this even with some effort put in? Well ask and worry no more I have the answers you've all been looking for. I'm going to drop 5 tips on how you can pull it together and be just as fabulous as the chic women or tailored men that inspire you.

TIP #1 PROPORTIONS:

a. In essence this means balance within the look. If you wear a baggy or loose fitting top the bottom should be more fitted.

b. If you wear a fitted top, then the bottom should be loose or baggy.

c. If you wear something showing a lot of skin on top cover the bottom and vice versa if you wear a shorter bottom then cover the top.

TIP #2 DETAILS:

a. Take clothing to the tailor for a better personalized fit.

b. Keep essentials like lint rollers/shavers to extend the quality of your garments.

c. Invest in a steamer this way when you get new clothes or freshly laundered clothes the garments are ready to go when you need them.

TIP #3 DECLUTTER/PURGE & ORGANIZE

What needs to go: clothing in your closet that you aren't wearing anymore, can't fit, out of season or style that are just taking up space GET RID OF IT!

Now you can organize what you have and see what you don't and start adding pieces into your closet that will build that dream wardrobe.

TIP #4 FINDING YOUR PERSONAL STYLE:

Finding your own personal style can be tricky for some of you with so many fast fashion brands pushing out trends weekly, you can get caught up in all the hype of buying cute trendy pieces that aren't really essential to your everyday life. I always recommend starting with the basics a classic white, black or blue shirt, some tailored & wide leg trousers, straight leg jeans, skinny jeans for knee boots. Then you can add in color or a trendy piece to your wardrobe with tees, blouses, tanks, blazers etc that will compliment your everyday style or taste.

TIP #5 CONFIDENCE:

A lot of people don't believe that they can pull off certain looks or know how to style pieces outside of wearing it one way. I don't know who made the rule that you can't wear something multiple times but throw that non sense out the window please and thank you! You have to believe in the wardrobe you want to build for yourself is it a business wardrobe, a casual one or a mix of both? Whatever it may be you wear the clothes and don't let the clothes wear you, walk into that closet confidently put those outfits together and show up and show out in your new style. Throw on a quick face or a great moisturizer, be intentional with your looks, rock the hell out of each outfit and be Fabulously Fierce!!!
